ESTERO, FL- Interior Designer Robert Bowen has been named Miromar Design Center’s February 2012 Designer of Distinction. He is the principal of the Tampa interior design firm SPACE. Bowen’s firm provides timeless design to personal and professional settings from modern chic to classically elegant. He is Miromar Design Center’s first two-time Designer of Distinction winner, having also received the honor in July 2011.

Each month Miromar Design Center recognizes the talents, loyalty and support of interior design professionals based upon nominations from the center’s 45 home décor stores. Designers are honored for their professionalism, creativity and commitment to the showroom partners. Bowen brings an international flavor to his work through contemporary, clean design. Bowen collaborates with clients’ to create extremely livable spaces that excite. Bowen founded SPACE in 2007 after working for Henredon Furniture and Ralph Lauren Home. His work has been featured in the St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Bay Magazine, Bay Magazine, Tampa Bay Illustrated, and on ABC’s “Day Time Show” as a guest designer.
