Wanda E. Gozdz is president and founder of Golden Age Living, LLC. Ms. Gozdz is a Residential Interior Designer and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and trainer for the National Home Builder’s Association (NHBA) in Aging in Place. Gozdz, provides a curb to backyard assessment of a residence in order to determine that the resident can live safely and securely at home. Ms. Gozdz speaks frequently to national organizations and homeowners on “Aging in Place.” She authored, “Sensible Smart Tips for Living in Your ForeverHome™” and received the 2013 Laurel Award from The Treasure Coast Home Builder’s Association (TCBA), Green Building & Remodelers Council, for Residential Construction less than 10,000sq ft.
The Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) Designation - Program
In a three-course program, CAPS teaches the strategies and techniques for marketing, designing and building aesthetically enriching, barrier-free living environments. Going beyond universal design, CAPS also addresses the communication and technical needs of the older adult market. The CAPS designation program adds value to that knowledge by providing insights into marketing and working with this demographic group.
